Frequently asked questions
Do you do virtual or in-person sessions?
I currently offer in-person sessions in Colorado and HIPAA-compliant Telehealth video sessions in Colorado and New York. My office is located in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Please note, for New York clients, I am currently offering Telehealth sessions only.
How long are your sessions?
Sessions are generally 50 minutes. For some folks, 75-minute or 90-minute appointments can feel more supportive for somatic therapy. We can discuss what could feel best for you during our initial call.
What are your rates?
Standard rates are $200 for a 50 minute session for individuals. I offer a reduced rate for $180 and a supporter rate for $240. Refer to the Offerings page for full details. I have a limited amount of low-cost sliding scale spots available based on client-identified need. Those who chose the supporter rate are contributing directly to these folks receiving services. I ask everyone to consider factors such as income and intersecting identities when deciding which price to pay.
Do you take insurance?
I do not currently take insurance. I am happy to provide a superbill upon request. I do take HSA and FSA cards.
What is the initial consultation call?
Our initial consultation will be a 20 minute video or phone call to discuss your needs and goals for our time together. This is also a space to make sure that we will be a good fit. The initial call is free of charge.
What is the Good Faith Estimate?
The Good Faith Estimate is a provision of the No Surprises Act, which was enacted in 2022 to protect people from surprise medical bills. All health care providers are required to provide private pay clients with the estimated cost of annual services prior to the start of services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate at any time.
